Exquisite refinement and a gentle femininity… If there is anyone who regards this trend in fashion as out of date, it certainly isn´t Belgian designer Tim van Steenbergen. Not a bit of it — he knows how to find femininity in places where no one else would even have thought of looking for it!

Today the world belongs to girls who know how to turn everything around them upside down and yet at the same time give the impression that they have absolutely nothing to do with it. They are always something of an actress — and the way they look gives away the fact that they´re acting — both with the world around them and themselves. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, 30-year-old Tim van Steenbergen not only creates pret a porter collections, but has also been making costumes for various theatrical and operatic productions for a long time now and to great acclaim.
