Sue Bennet about Cara&Co restaurant
Respected journalist and Good Living Editor, Sue Bennett recently wrote a glowing report on Cara&Co in Spectrum, the Sydney Morning Herald.
"Essentially, it's a collection of gorgeous desirable things, from clothes to jewellery, gadgets to cufflinks." Bennett visited Cara&Co Restaurant during the stay of Michelin-star Belgian chef Dave de Belder stating "de Belder…oversees the food at a sexy little restaurant in the concept store, Cara&Co, at Westfield Sydney. A visit a couple of weeks ago found de Belder at the tables. He was putting the finishing touches to a new menu with dishes including a kingfish ceviche with iced cucumber and his version of a Caesar salad comprising refreshing green vegetable gazpacho, parmesan crisps, mustard ice-cream and glazed chicken. It's beautifully arranged, very pretty food with gels and flowers in abundance. The nutty lemon dessert, with an element reminiscent of a sea sponge but tasting of hazlenut, is worthy of three stars, Michelin inspectors told him."
