GQ MAN OF THE YEAR SPONSOR’S DINNER

Stylish magazine title GQ selected Cara&Co Sydney as the venue for their recent Man of the Year Sponsor’s Dinner.

The boutique & restaurant looked stunning, complete with an illuminated GQ media wall against a handmade timber & metal door within the store.

High profile guests including television personality Charlotte Dawson; chef Justin North and his wife Georgia; David Jones General Manager David Bush; Chief Executive of News Magazines Sandra Hook; GQ Editor Nick Smith; as well as Cara&Co’s Rosa Alpert and Creative Director Aleksey Oleshov were in attendance.

Star chef Dave de Belder, creator of the original Cara&Co menu, was in Australia from Belgium to create the new Summer menu & also attended the event. Guests dined on his delicious creations such as lollipops of goats cheese with a mandarin glaze; and king fish de belder with cucumber, kaffir lime and oyster. Main dishes included John Dory with buttermilk potato, Tasmanian salsify, quail egg, bottarga and chive oil; and Angus Beef with pumpkin, black garlic, celeriac and Vin Santo Jus.
