As if that wasn´t enough, the Boodie team then strutted their stuff on the catwalks of Miami for the Miami Fashion Week. Returning to Aussie soils after American “yeehahs”, this range is like nothing else.
The range boasts intricate detailing, highlighting en-trend cuts with fabrics that cling to the body for the racy fashion forward belle. The focus is on strong, unique prints which encapsulates the spirit of Australiansbeing bold bright and not at all shy.
Sisters by force, designers by choice, Halle and Savannah Purcell grew up in Whale Beach, NSW where they dreamed of igniting runways worldwide with extravagant stage production parades setting them aside from other labels. The sisters worked with vintage fabrics capturing a cult following amongst swimwear enthusiasts of our sun kissed country.
Responding to overseas trends, the sisters were one of the first labels to introduce the “Brazilian cut´ aptlynamed “sweet on the bum” to accentuate curves of the curvaceous woman. “This year we wanted to showcase areas of the female form which we believe should be celebrated such as low backs in our onepieces and accessories. Hallican Boodie is about celebrating being a woman” Savannah said.
Worn by Paris Hilton, Kate Bosworth, Elle McPherson and Kimberly Stewart just to name a few celebrities there leaves no doubt as to why Miami, that sets the worlds largest annual swimwear exhibition, beckoned Hallican Boodie to its own shores.
